If you have your top keep alive, you can leave burning oil spills on top of the altar from the safety of your walls, which cannot be blocked. (+)īlaze is extremely effective at preventing altar caps, possibly the best hero for doing this aside from Deathwing that is using his level 7 to interrupt. W + Q structure poke threatens keep walls instead of fort walls from the very start. Amazing Blaze Mapsīlaze can double soak mid – top effectively from the very early game while being mostly unaffected by ganks (+) While there is variance in Blaze's performance across different maps its a tough deal to call any map a 'tough' map to play Blaze due to versatility of his kit. Hogger – Bullies Blaze on lane, and in teamfights later on Headbanger can be a real headache for Blaze’s health pool In teamfights though, bunker can negate Last Rites quite effectively. Malthael – Mostly for the lane bully, there isn’t much Blaze can do about him. Lucio – Cleanse for your kill targets on a low cooldown, high enough mobility to make him practically untouchable to your slow cast time E and Soundwaves can easily interrupt any E’s that are aimed properly.ĭeathwing – Completely unaffected by Blaze’s most impactful button, and not affected massively by Blaze’s level 7 (explained in the talent section). Malfurion (Roots on a kill target are really effective in preventing Blaze making a counter engage, or to make a dive at anyone else if he places a root between targets.Į.T.C – Lots of ways to interrupt charge safely, and Blaze cannot interrupt mosh (unless cleansed during his E) …and any mass melee comp that needs to clump up to get kills. Xul (Bunker cleanses Poison Nova, easy target to hit with E, 50% AA speed reduction ruins his clear, cannot escape Oil Spills easily)īutcher (AA slow, stun, Bunker cleanses Lamb) Tychus (Kind of, if you can go AA slow on 7, fairly short range makes his vulnerable to his E's) Greymane (AA slow + counter dive on his E) Stukov (Stukov E is an amazing follow up to Blaze, and Bunker acts as a soft cleanse to cover for Stukov's lack of cleanse and burst save)Įvery hero that benefits massively from bunch of people stunned.
